FX.co ★ Belgium Business Sentiment Hits 5-Month High

Belgium’s business confidence indicator climbed by 0.9 points to -12.4 in June 2026, from -13.4 in May, coming in slightly above market expectations of -12. This was the strongest reading since January, driven mainly by a marked improvement in sentiment in the construction sector (-4.2 vs -11.1 in May) and in trade (-9.3 vs -14.8). Confidence also improved in business-related services (-7.4 vs -8.8), while it continued to worsen in manufacturing (-15.7 vs -14.8).
