Ghana’s annual inflation rate climbed to 5.3% in June 2026, up from 3.7% in May, marking the highest reading since December 2025. Price increases accelerated in both non-food items (6.3% compared with 4.1% in May) and food (3.9% versus 3.3%). On a monthly basis, the consumer price index (CPI) rose 0.2% in June, following a 1.1% increase in the previous month.
