Hong Kong’s foreign exchange reserves totaled US$445.9 billion in June 2026, unchanged from May and remaining at their highest level since June 2022. There were no unsettled foreign exchange contracts at the end of June, compared with US$0.3 billion at the end of the previous month. Overall, the reserves are equivalent to more than five times the currency in circulation and around 38% of the Hong Kong dollar M3 money supply.
