FX.co ★ Estonia Producer Inflation at 5-Month High

Producer prices in Estonia increased by 3.8% year-on-year in June 2026, up from a 2.7% rise in May. This was the sixth consecutive month of gains and the fastest annual growth rate since January, largely driven by a 24.9% jump in prices for electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply (compared with a 5.8% decline in May). Manufacturing prices also continued to rise, though at a slightly slower pace (2.6% vs 3.3%), as costs for the manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products remained sharply higher (30.2% vs 52.6%), alongside notable increases in pharmaceutical products (8.8%) and rubber and plastic products (7.8%). Price growth also picked up in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (2.5% vs 2.1%). In contrast, producer price deflation persisted in food production (-3.5% vs -2.9%), textiles (-4.3% vs -5.6%), and the repair of machinery and equipment (-3% vs -2.5%). On a monthly basis, producer prices declined by 0.3% in June, reversing a 1.1% increase in May.
