The consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic declined to 105.6 in July 2026, down from 106.5 in June. Expectations for the overall economic situation over the next 12 months worsened compared with the previous month. At the same time, the share of respondents who reported that their financial situation had deteriorated over the past 12 months decreased. However, the proportion of households expecting an improvement in their financial situation over the next 12 months also fell on a month-on-month basis. The share of respondents not planning to make major purchases in the coming 12 months remained unchanged.
