The data indicate sustained momentum in Hong Kong’s external trade flows, as each month’s reading reflects the change relative to the preceding month: May’s 42.0% increase was measured against April, while June’s stronger 45.4% gain is measured against May. This suggests a continued firming of import demand heading into the second half of 2026.
