US equity futures extended their recent rally amid an improving macroeconomic backdrop and robust corporate earnings. S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 0.4% to fresh record highs, while Nasdaq 100 contracts edged higher. Treasury yields held their pullback from earlier in the week as US officials continued to signal progress toward a potential deal with Iran that could restore trade flows from the Middle East, helping to limit energy-driven inflation.
Credit-sensitive sectors, including banks and AI-focused hyperscalers, largely retained their gains from the past week. Arista Networks jumped as much as 15% after reporting revenue ahead of expectations. Eli Lilly climbed more than 5% after beating consensus revenue estimates and raising its full-year guidance.
In contrast, SpaceX fell 10%, erasing its surge from the previous session, as concerns about surging AI-related capital expenditure overshadowed its revenue beat. A significant portion of its IPO shares is also set to be released by primary buyers. AMD declined 8% despite doubling its datacenter revenues.
