The figures show that the downturn in vehicle demand is not only continuing but accelerating on a short-term basis. The “Actual” August reading is calculated as the change in registrations versus July, while the “Previous” measure reflects July’s change compared with June, underscoring a deepening month-on-month contraction in Spain’s car market.
