FX.co ★ Colombia Economic Index Gains in July

Colombia’s leading economic index increased 1.11% year over year in July 2026, slowing from a 3.51% rise in June. The overall gain was primarily supported by a 2.59% increase in the tertiary activities index. In contrast, the primary activities index fell 3.72%, and the secondary activities index declined 2.3%. On a month‑over‑month basis, the leading economic index rose 0.97%. Cumulatively, from the start of the year through July, the index was up 2.60%.
