FX.co ★ Place of sorrow: US President visits Hiroshima

On May 27, Friday, the US President Barack Obama visited Japanese Hiroshima which was destructed in 1945 by nuclear bombing of the US air force.

This event aroused much interest among both high-ranking officials and ordinary citizens. Many of them came to greet the American President.

During the meeting, Mr. Obama delivered a speech the main idea of which was to avoid using of nuclear weapon by any country. The US President noted that all conflicts should be resolved peacefully. He expressed his sorrow over the Japanese who died in 1945.

The American President also met the people who survived after that tragic event. Many of them looked vigorous and were positive about the future despite being up in years.

In the Peace Memorial Park, Barack Obama laid a wreath at the monument to the Japanese who died during the bombing.

After the speech, the American leader had a conversation with the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. All those who attended the ceremony also had a chance to speak to the US President.
