Technical University of Munich, Germany. It was established in 1868. The university is situated in Munich and considered one of the largest educational institutions in Germany. Some lectures are read both in German and English.

From 2008 to 2013, the university applied for 153 patents, and 34.6 percent of them were obtained.

Delft University of Technology, Netherlands.

TU Delft was founded in 1842, and now it is the largest technical university in the country. Over 16,000 students and 2,600 research fellows (including 200 professors) are educated and employed in TU Delft.

University of Oxford, UK. It is one of the oldest universities in the world and the first English-speaking one. The date of its foundation is unknown, but there is evidence of teaching back in 1096.

Oxford includes 38 colleges and 6 Permanent Private Halls. PPHs are governed by the corresponding Christian denomination.

In 2008-2013, Oxford submitted 419 patent applications, and 23.9% of them were obtained.
