Novelties of Monaco Yacht Show 2016
- The biggest yacht of the exhibition became 107m long Ulysses, built in 2016. This vessel was constructed on a request of a businessman from New Zealand at the unpopular shipyard Kleven. A striking feature of Ulysses is having all necessary characteristics to make an around the world trip.
- Another novelty of the exhibition is the 74m long yacht Plvs Vitra. This unusual name of the yacht, built at the Dutch shipyard Amels, means "beyound". This medium, by its size, vessel has everything millionaires used to see on such ships: gym, wellness centre, steam room, four decks, helipad, dance floor, bar, etc.
The yacht, which received Monaco Yacht Show 2016 awards in the categories "Best Exterior" and "Best New superyacht", is 70 meters long and is named Galactica Super Nova. This vessel was built at a Dutch shipyard Heesen.
Another 70m long yacht - Sybaris - was created at the Italian shipyard Perini Navi. The ship received the award in the category "Best Interior Design".
This year, the Dutch shipyard Feadship did a great job: it received 17 orders for yachts, 10 of which are 70 meters long. One of the new products, manufactured at the shipyard in 2016, became the yacht Vanish, which reaches 66 meters in length.
The product of the Italian shipyard Mondomarine, yacht Sara Star is another novelty of Monaco Yacht Show 2016. This is a 60-meter long vessel, completely made of aluminum. This yacht has five guest cabins, as well as several decks.
