Company Mazda has presented the CX-5 crossover new generation. The public debut of the car took place at the motor show in Los Angeles. This crossover is available for purchase in 120 countries. This model provides a quarter of the profits from sales of the brand's cars. CX-5 is the most popular car of the Japanese company in Europe and Russia.

The experts think the design of the new CX-5 is similar to the CX-9 and CX-3.

The automaker is also bringing a new paint color to market along with the redesigned CX-5. It's called Soul Red Crystal and it represents an evolution in the paint techniques that Mazda has been perfecting. Also, you can see a high-quality finish thanks to the “Takuminuri” paint technology employed. Now this new version of Soul Red adds aluminum flakes and an additional translucent layer to help provide a very deep and saturated red color.

The creators of the upgraded CX-5 claim that the car has excellent response to driver's operation. Even when driving actively, you will not hear the noise in the cabin. Driving at any speed, noted in the Mazda, will be comfortable for the driver and passengers, as in the crossover the suspension system and the system of compensation for lateral accelerations were refined.

The range of engines of the car includes two petrol engines volume of 2.0 and 2.5 liters. Also customers will be offered a 2.2-liter diesel engine.

In the Russian market the previous version of the CX-5 takes the 25th place in the overall ranking of popularity. For three quarters of this year there were sold 12,652 Mazda CX-5 cars in Russia.

According to company's representatives, the interior of the new version of the CX-5 has become more functional and qualitative. Fans of the brand have a choice between three interior options: the light and dark skin or a dark cloth.

Optionally, the Bose sound system, wooden elements, head-up display, and power liftgate can be added to CX-5.

The 2017 CX-5 goes on sale in Japan this coming February, with a global launch to follow.
