The US stock indices grew on Wednesday. Dow Jones Industrial Average index exceeded 10000 points for the first time in a year on the back of more positive, than it was expected, quarterly reports about Intel and JPMorgan Chase profit. Some advancement in Caterpillar sales sector and other industrial companies sustained the index growth and pushed up its shares quotes.
On Wednesday DJIA rose by 144,80 pips or by 1,47% to 10015,86 points, which became the most significant daily increase since August,31. The index had not reached the level of 10000 since October 07, 2008 and had not closed above this level since October 03, 2008. Nevertheless, DJIA is still lower its record closing high of 14164,53 by 29%, fixed on October 09, 2007.
JPMorgan Chase shares became leaders of growth, which increased by 1,50 US dollars or by 3,3% to 47,16 USD on the back of profit rise in the 3rd quarter.
Profit reports of Citigroup and Goldman Sachs are waited on Thursday, the Bank of America data is expected on Friday. Shares of these three companies increased with shares of all bank sector in the whole, due to JPMorgan released statistics.
