The US Treasury has unaccounted expenses! Billions of dollars have literally gone nowhere! According to billionaire Elon Musk, the country’s top financial agency hands out $100 billion annually to unknown recipients.
The American entrepreneur pointed out that the US Treasury pays out $100 billion each year in benefits, yet the recipients remain unidentified.
According to Musk, the agency distributes money to people without a Social Security number or even a temporary ID. The head of Tesla and SpaceX called the situation highly suspicious.
Musk previously tried to find out what percentage of these payments were fraudulent. However, officials struggled to give him an answer. Eventually, he learned that $50 billion per year—roughly $1 billion per week—is potentially fraud. "This is utterly insane and must be addressed immediately," Musk insisted.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump also claimed that the government was losing trillions of dollars due to wasteful and illegal spending by state agencies. He added that corruption schemes needed to be uncovered because there were far too many of them.
