Europe's radical-right parties have taken the spotlight in recent months due to their aspiration to give up the EU membership. Though, Greece’s zeal makes sense as the Balkan country is facing the debt crisis and making brave efforts to change bailout terms. In other words, the newly elected government is trading the anti-euro sentiment and threatening to leave the European Union. Besides, the UK has been reviewing its membership in the EU as some British policy makers insist that the community rests on dubious principles. However, the pending general election accounts for this anti-EU campaign. Each candidate is eager to gain an utmost number of voters. So the idea of the UK exit from the EU appeals to numerous Britons. What is more, the opposition party in France is also making good use of the anti-EU strategy. Marine Le Pen, the leader of the National Front, claimed that in case her party wins the presidential election she guarantees the fire-sure exit from the eurozone. From her viewpoint, this step is supposed to solve many problems. For example, abandoning the euro is expected to boost somehow the economic recovery. Moreover, a revival of the franc would be the ground to convert the whole public debt into the national currency keeping its amount unchanged. Marine Le Pen is certain that France should establish diplomatic relations with Syria. She claims that France should cooperate with Russia in the fight against Islamic extremism. Importantly, Marine Le Pen approved of Russia’s foreign policy, in particular its stance on the Ukrainian crisis. The presidential election in France is scheduled in 2017. Meanwhile, candidates are competing for voters with any catchy campaign pledges from “Out of the EU!” to plans for cooperating with Syria.
