The Apple Watch, presented in September 2014, went on sale around the world. The smart watch was ordered in advance and bought through the Internet in Australia, the UK, Germany, Hong-Kong, Canada, China, the US, France, and Japan.
The Cupertino company predicted the supply disruption in May due to the lack of the product.
One of the Apple Watch owners believes that we live in the time when the company creates the demand for its products. Earlier, this strategy was used for iPad and now it is applied to Apple Watch and all devices with the Internet connection.
Watch comes in 38 variations with prices ranging from $349 for the Sport version to $10,000 and more for the gold Edition.
However, the company is behind its rivals. Last year, around 6.8 million smart watches were sold and every fourth watch was developed by South Korean company Samsung.
