Some Western analysts believe that the US uses sanctions to conduct its own business. While European companies adhere to the imposed restrictions, the US ones conclude agreements despite the bans. The US ignores sanctions if business is primarily concerned with financial interests. So, when trade with Russia promises to be benefit, the US can easily put aside the differences. At the same time, if we compare trade turnovers between the United States and Russia and the EU and Russia, the latter is much bigger. In other words, trade with Europe exceeds trade with the United States in terms of volume by times. Current sanctions trigger serious losses to European partners. In addition, the Americans skillfully use any legal loopholes to evade restrictions, and they do not worry too much about it. On the other hand, Europe is much closer to the center of the conflict and, naturally, it is forced to ignore financial losses. One of the latest examples of such relationship between the allies was the agreement on the supply of cargo planes completed by representatives of the Boeing Company and the Russian authorities. According to available information, the sum of transaction is equal to a record $7.4 billion, which seems defiant amid sanctions. It also became known that the Pentagon is lobbying the abolition of cooperation restrictions in the space industry. It turns out that it is Europe which is affected by bans the most, and the United States, at the same time, receives profitable orders and concludes favourable deals.
