There is no reason not to hold bitcoin for 100 years. The expert anticipates that bitcoin may become a widespread form of wealth all around the globe. He also added he was confident in the asset and in its promising future. According to Saylor, modern markets need to consider that the BTC network has a unique potential. He noted that billions of users worldwide would use bitcoin soon.
MicroStrategy’s CEO confirms his forecast not only by his words but also by his actions. The company’s total amount of bitcoins reached 105,085 BTC as of the end of June 2021. It invested $2,741 billion in cryptocurrency for which it had borrowed $2,2 billion. The expert underlined that MicroStrategy’s big bet on bitcoin, which the company made using leveraged money, was the strategy with the highest potential and lowest risk and a way to diversify its portfolio.
