According to US President Joe Biden, a new infrastructure reform will boost the national economy.
During a press conference at the White House, Joe Biden emphasized the new project would involve significant investments to facilitate economic growth. The US President said that the infrastructure bill would help create millions of jobs, increase economic productivity and reduce prices. In general, the project will drive the US to its most substantial economic expansion ever.
In October 2021, Congress passed the infrastructure bill estimated at $1 trillion for 10 years. The project framework aims at adding new jobs including for employees without a degree. According to President Biden, people making less than $400,000 a year would be spared any increase in personal taxes.
The US President assured that the project would become a new historic milestone for the US. “Any single element of this framework would fundamentally be viewed as a fundamental change in America,” Biden said, adding that he is ready to sign the bill.
