"Vikings? Really? Come on...," - is the caption to the picture, to which Musk himself added, "Yeah, even on the moon." Market participants immediately began digging for hidden layers in this cryptic statement. As a result, the value of three previously little-known cryptocurrencies VikingsChain, Viking Swap, and Space Vikings skyrocketed. It means that their price growth graph became almost vertical. Viking Swap, for example, gained 3,700% at once.
Musk's tweets have been moving markets for a long time. So, the recent situation has attracted high interest. The network explains Musk’s publication by the fact that in the medieval chronicles there were notes about the noble Norwegian navigator and explorer. In the historical document “The Book of the Settlement of Iceland” he is called a great Viking. His name is Floki Wilgerdarson. After him, Musk named his new pet, a Shiba Inu puppy.
Notably, Dogecoin, one of the top 10 cryptocurrencies, rose 13% in just four hours in October. The token went up in price after Musk posted a picture of a dog-like animal with a rocket in its paws on his Twitter account.
