Randstad has announced a decline in its net income attributable to ordinary shareholders for the fourth quarter, decreasing to 161 million euros from the previous year's 292 million euros. The earnings per share also saw a reduction, coming in at 0.91 euros as opposed to the previous 1.59 euros. Adjusted net income for ordinary shareholders dipped to 248 million euros, a 30% reduction from the prior year. The underlying EBITA also recorded a 24% decrease at 265 million euros. The earnings per ordinary share (underlying) dropped to 1.40 euros from 1.93 euros.
Additionally, the company's revenue for the fourth quarter was 6.18 billion euros, down from the previous year's 7.01 billion euros. On an organic basis, the revenue per working day was lower by 8.6%.
