European Economic News Preview: Eurozone Final Composite PMI Data Due

The main economic highlights for Thursday include the final composite Purchasing Managers' survey results from the euro area and the UK, and the release of minutes from the European Central Bank's monetary policy meeting.

At 2:30 am Eastern Time, Switzerland's Federal Statistical Office is set to release the country's consumer prices for March. Analysts are predicting a slight inflation increase to 1.3 percent, up from 1.2 percent in February.

At 3:15 am Eastern Time, Spain will release its services and composite Purchasing Managers' survey results. The services PMI is predicted to reach 55.5 in March, increasing from February's 54.7.

At 3:45 am Eastern Time, Italy's PMI survey data will be released. The services index is expected to improve to 53.0 in March from 52.2 in February.

At 3:50 am Eastern Time, France's final PMI survey data will be released. The composite index is projected to drop to 47.7 in March, down from 48.1 in February.

At 3:55 am Eastern Time, Germany will release its final PMI survey data. Economists predict the composite indicator to jump to 47.4, up from February's 46.3.

At 4:00 am Eastern Time, S&P Global will disclose the euro area's final composite PMI survey results. The composite index is predicted to rise to 49.9 in March, up from 49.2 in February, aligning with the initial flash estimate.

At 4:30 am Eastern Time, the UK's S&P/CIPS composite PMI data is due for release.

At 5:00 am Eastern Time, Eurostat will release the euro area's producer prices for February. The producer prices are expected to decline 8.6 percent annually, remaining consistent with January's depreciation rate.

Lastly, at 7:30 am Eastern Time, the European Central Bank is scheduled to make public the account from its monetary policy meeting held by the Governing Council on March 6 and 7.
