BAE Systems Plc. (BA.L) announced on Wednesday that it has secured a $6 million Phase 2 contract to advance autonomous network technology for mission-critical communications for the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
This contract builds upon Phase 1 of the Mission-Integrated Network Control (MINC) program, which is designed to establish a secure communications network to support multi-domain operations.
As of now, BAE Systems' stock is trading at 1,297 pence, reflecting a 1.81 percent increase on the London Stock Exchange.
