Trump Media & Technology Group (DJT), which operates the social media platform Truth Social, unveiled its latest offering on Thursday: an Android app for accessing the Truth+ TV streaming service. This new app is now available in the Google Play Store and provides Android users with a range of TV content, including news, entertainment, faith-based programming, weather updates, documentaries, and children's shows. Users can enjoy both linear TV channels and Video on Demand (VOD) services.
Truth+ boasts a host of enhanced features, such as VOD, the ability to rewind live TV with visual thumbnails, catch-up TV for up to seven days, network DVR capabilities, and a Spanish language interface option.
TMTG has also announced plans to release native Truth+ apps for iOS devices, as well as for various connected TV platforms, including Samsung, LG, Apple TV, Android TV, and Amazon Fire devices, in the near future.
As the rollout of this service continues, the company will perform stress and beta testing of the streaming technology, gathering user feedback to refine the service. DJT will update the public once testing concludes and the rollout is fully complete.
Android users can now download the Truth+ app from the Google Play Store. Those with existing Truth Social accounts can log in directly, while new users have the option to create an account through the Truth+ app.
