Iridium Communications Inc. (IRDM), a leading provider of satellite voice and data communications, revealed on Tuesday that the Space Development Agency has granted a substantial multi-year contract worth $491.6 million to both General Dynamics Mission Systems and Iridium. This contract modification aims to bolster the Ground Management and Integration program for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. This new award progresses from an earlier contract received in 2022, which focused on establishing ground entry points and operations centers, as well as overseeing network operations and systems integration services.
