Embraer (ERJ) announced that it delivered a total of 57 jets in the third quarter of 2024, marking a 33% increase from the same period the previous year. The breakdown included 16 jets for commercial aviation and 41 jets for executive aviation. Additionally, the Defense & Security division delivered two C-390 Millennium aircraft during the quarter—one to Hungary for the first time and the seventh to Brazil.
By the end of the third quarter, the overall company backlog reached US$22.7 billion, a year-over-year growth exceeding 25%. The Defense & Security segment led this surge with a backlog increase of US$1.5 billion, followed by Services & Support, which rose by US$367 million. Conversely, Executive and Commercial Aviation experienced slight declines in their backlogs, by US$184 million and US$168 million, respectively.
