This represents a substantial increase compared to the net income of $10.39 million or $0.68 per share recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
When adjusting for one-time items, the company's earnings stood at $19.91 million or $1.27 per share, marking an improvement from last year's adjusted earnings of $13.25 million or $0.86 per share.
In terms of revenue, operating revenues and grant income experienced growth, reaching $340.19 million, up from $288.49 million in the same period last year.
