In its financial report for the third quarter released on Friday, engineering firm Fluor Corp. (FLR) adjusted its projected earnings for the full year 2024. The company now anticipates earnings between $2.55 and $2.75 per share, refining its previous range of $2.50 to $3.00 per share.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters expect Fluor Corp. to post earnings of $2.89 per share for the quarter, noting that these projections generally exclude special items.
Additionally, the company announced that its Board of Directors has sanctioned an increase in its share repurchase program. This adjustment authorizes the buyback of up to 30.5 million shares as part of management’s strategic approach to capital allocation.
