Markforged Holding Corp. (MKFG) announced on Friday that it has been voluntarily dismissed, without prejudice, from a lawsuit initiated by Desktop Metal, Inc. (DM) against Nano Dimension Ltd. (NNDM), a company specializing in intelligent machines.
The lawsuit alleged that Nano Dimension violated a merger agreement with Desktop Metal by engaging in a similar transaction with Markforged.
Interestingly, Markforged has now signed a merger agreement with Nano Dimension. Upon finalizing the deal on January 24, Markforged will become an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Nano Dimension.
As of now, Markforged's shares are trading at $3.40, reflecting a 2.62% increase on the New York Stock Exchange.
