OFS Capital Corporation (OFS), a leading business development company, has announced the appointment of Kyle Spina as Chief Financial Officer, effective March 31, 2025. Spina will take over from Jeff Cerny, who is retiring as CFO and Treasurer. Cerny, however, will maintain his position on the Board of Directors and collaborate closely with Spina to ensure a seamless transition process.
With over 15 years of experience in both public and private accounting, Spina has been instrumental as the Chief Accounting Officer of OFS Capital since April 2023, managing all aspects of the company's accounting and financial reporting functions.
Spina's journey with OFS Capital Management, LLC began in April 2021 when he joined as Vice President and Controller of Fund Accounting and Reporting. His extensive background includes roles as Assistant Controller of Credit Funds at Thoma Bravo, LP, and stints as Controller and Accounting Manager with Fidus Investment Corporation and its affiliates.
His career commenced in public accounting, where he notably served as an Audit Manager at BDO, specializing in audits of publicly traded companies.
