In March 2025, Poland experienced a rise in its annual inflation rate to 4.9%, a slight increase from the revised 4.7% recorded in February, according to preliminary estimates. This figure was below the anticipated market projection of 5.1%. The primary contributors to this upward trend were the costs associated with housing and utilities, which increased by 13.3%, and food and non-alcoholic beverages, which climbed by 6.7%. On a monthly scale, consumer prices went up by 0.1% in March, diverging from a revised static position in February and falling short of the expected 0.3% rise.
