According to preliminary estimates from the Turkish Trade Ministry, Turkey's trade deficit slightly decreased to $7.27 billion in March 2025, compared to $7.3 billion in the same month last year. Exports rose by 3.2% year-on-year, reaching $23.39 billion, while imports experienced a milder increase of 2.3%, totaling $30.65 billion. Over the first quarter of the year, the trade deficit stood at $22.58 billion, with exports growing by 2.5% and imports by 4.6%.
