In April 2025, Slovakia's industrial confidence indicator rose by 2 points from the previous month, reaching a value of -4.7, compared to March's -6.7. The evaluation of the current level of orders showed a less pessimistic outlook, improving from -17 to -15, and export orders also showed an uptick, moving from -16 to -12. This positive trend was notably observed in sectors such as the manufacturing of food, beverages, tobacco products (which improved from -26 to -23) and metals and fabricated metal products, excluding machinery and equipment, which saw an improvement from -79 to -74.
