Construction output in Bulgaria saw an accelerated growth rate of 8.9% in March 2025, a notable increase from the revised figure of 7% recorded in February. This uptick was primarily due to enhanced activities in civil engineering, which experienced a growth surge to 13.2%, compared to 8% in the previous month, and in specialized construction sectors, which reported an increase to 13.9% from 8.1%. Conversely, the growth in building construction experienced a slowdown, decreasing to 1.9% from 5.3% earlier. On a seasonally adjusted month-to-month comparison, construction output increased by 1.8%, rebounding from a 0.25% dip in February.
