FX.co ★ Germany Ifo Business Sentiment at 11-Month High

The Ifo Business Climate Index for Germany increased to 87.5 in May 2025, marking the highest level in eleven months. This is an improvement from 86.9 in April and slightly surpasses the predicted figure of 87.4. The expectations index climbed to 88.9 from 87.4, although the measure for current conditions dipped slightly to 86.1 from 86.4. Ifo President Clemens Fuest commented, "The recent significant rise in uncertainty among companies has somewhat diminished. The German economy is gradually finding its balance again."
