Indonesia's annual inflation rate slowed to 1.60% in May 2025, decreasing from April's eight-month peak of 1.95%. This decline reflects a reduction in price pressures after the Eid al-Fitr celebrations. On a month-to-month basis, the consumer price index (CPI) experienced a fall of 0.37%, marking the first monthly drop in three months, which contrasts with the 1.17% rise observed in April.
