In April 2025, Bulgaria's construction output growth slowed to 7.0% year-on-year, compared to a revised increase of 9.0% in March. This deceleration was attributed to a reduction in the growth of civil engineering projects, which dropped to 8.1% from 12.8% the previous month, and a slowdown in specialized construction activities, decreasing to 10.8% from 14.1%. However, building construction depicted a slight uptick, rising to 3.1% from an earlier 2.2%. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, construction output experienced a decline of 0.7% in April, a shift from a revised 1.9% increase registered in March.
