Czech Republic Manufacturing Sector Stabilizes in June

In June 2025, the S&P Global Czechia Manufacturing PMI increased to 50.2, up from 48.0 in May, surpassing the market's expected 48.4. This reflects the first positive shift in the manufacturing sector's performance since May 2022. Production levels rose for the first time since February 2022, driven by an upswing in client demand and a resurgence in new orders. Despite this positive movement, manufacturers maintained a cautious approach by continuing to reduce both employment and input purchases to manage costs. Regarding pricing, input costs experienced a slower, less significant increase compared to historical norms. Conversely, output charges fell for the first time in four months. Furthermore, business confidence reached its highest point since February 2022, buoyed by optimism for a sustained rebound in client demand.
