Turkey's trade deficit expanded to USD 8.2 billion in June 2025, up from USD 5.9 billion in June 2024, based on preliminary figures from the Trade Ministry. Exports experienced a year-on-year growth of 7.8%, reaching a one-year low of USD 20.5 billion. Meanwhile, imports grew at a quicker rate of 15.2%, amounting to a four-month low of USD 28.7 billion.
