The United Kingdom continued to be the foremost contributor to Spain's international tourist numbers, with visitor figures reaching nearly 2.1 million, an increase of 7.3% over May 2024. Meanwhile, France and Germany each contributed roughly 1.2 million tourists, although both countries showed declines in their year-on-year numbers, with decreases of 6.7% and 6.1%, respectively. Overall, for the first five months of 2025, there was a 5.5% rise in tourists visiting Spain, totaling approximately 35 million visitors.
