In June 2025, motorbike sales in Indonesia experienced a slight decrease of 0.3% compared to the same period the previous year, amounting to 509,326 units. This follows a 0.1% decline recorded in May, attributed to weak purchasing power stemming from layoffs in certain companies. However, on a monthly basis, sales saw a modest increase of 0.8% in June, a significant slowdown from the impressive 24.3% jump observed in May. In the previous year, motorbike sales had risen 1.5%, totaling 6.3 million units, aligning with the Association of Indonesian Motorcycle Industry's (AISI) projected range of 6.2 to 6.5 million units.
