In June 2025, Kyrgyzstan experienced a year-on-year increase in industrial production by 10.6%, a deceleration from the 13.5% growth seen the previous month. This slowdown was primarily attributed to reduced expansion in sectors such as mining and quarrying, which grew by 12.4%, down from 29.5% in May. Similarly, the water supply sector saw its growth rate drop to 35.0% from an impressive 252.4%, and the sector comprising electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning experienced a decrease in growth to 15.8% from 40.1%. Contrastingly, manufacturing activity demonstrated robust growth, with output increasing by 9.2%, up from 4.9% the previous month. Over the first half of 2025, the industrial production in Kyrgyzstan expanded by 10.2% compared to the same period in the preceding year.
