In June 2025, Taiwan's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate held steady at 3.34%, maintaining its lowest point since November 2000. The number of unemployed individuals rose by 8,000, reaching a total of 404,000, while employment saw an increase of 6,000, bringing the total to 11.617 million. The unemployment rate among young job seekers, aged 20 to 24, climbed to an eight-month high of 11.71% in June, up from a four-month low of 11.14% the previous month. Additionally, the labor force participation rate edged up to 59.38% in June, from 59.3% in May.
