In Sao Paulo, Brazil's most populous city, consumer prices increased by 0.28% in July compared to the previous month, marking a shift from the 0.08% decrease observed in June. Notably, price growth picked up in the housing sector, rising to 0.58% from 0.30% in June, and in personal care, which saw an increase to 0.33% from 0.20%. Meanwhile, the rate of decline in food prices eased slightly, dropping by 0.48% compared to a 0.66% decrease in the previous month.
