Hungary experienced a trade surplus of EUR 578 million in July 2025, rebounding from a deficit of EUR 11 million in July of the previous year. This positive shift was driven by an increase in exports alongside a decline in imports. On a yearly basis, exports increased by 1.7% to EUR 12,035 million, whereas imports saw a decrease of 3.3%, amounting to EUR 11,457 million. Assessing the data for the initial seven months of the year, Hungary's trade surplus expanded to EUR 7,451 million, compared to EUR 6,029 million during the same timeframe last year.
