Producer prices within the French domestic market experienced a 0.4% month-on-month rise in July 2025, rebounding from a revised 0.1% decline in the prior month. This marks the first occurrence of monthly producer inflation since January, largely influenced by a price recovery in extractive industries, energy, and water, reporting a 0.9% increase compared to a 1.6% decrease in June. This shift is attributed to a rise in gas prices following adjustments in the tariff grid for public natural gas distribution networks. Meanwhile, prices for manufactured goods remained stable, with a 0.3% increase primarily driven by the sectors of coke, refining products, and transport equipment. On a year-on-year basis, producer prices saw a slight increase of 0.4% in July, up from a revised 0.3% rise in June.
