Similarly, the unemployment rate for young job seekers aged 15 to 24 rose to 3.2% from 2.7%, marking its highest level since March 2021, as the number of unemployed youth went up by 2,200 to 13,700. Furthermore, the number of reported job vacancies decreased by 1,900, totaling 37,900. When adjusted for seasonal variations, the unemployment rate remained consistent at 2.9%.
