Sweden's business confidence index held steady at 100 in September 2025, maintaining the level observed after an upward revision of the previous month’s data. This figure represents the highest recorded since February and is consistent with historical averages, with only minor adjustments noted across various sector indices. Evaluations of demand conditions by companies showed stability relative to August; however, overall demand persists at below-normal levels in every sector, with the exception of trade. In the trade sector, dissatisfaction with current sales has decreased, resulting in the net balance for this metric nearing its historical average. Meanwhile, businesses continue to report a slight decline in employment over the past quarter. Looking forward, projections regarding workforce levels for the coming three months remain largely unchanged.
