The United Kingdom topped the list as the primary country of origin, with over 2.2 million tourists, reflecting a 4.4% rise from the previous year. France ranked second, drawing in 2.0 million travelers despite a 5.1% decline, followed by Germany with 1.3 million visitors, marking a 4.4% uptick. Most tourists opted for stays ranging from four to seven nights, totaling nearly 5.3 million, which is a 3.9% year-over-year growth. The Balearic Islands emerged as the leading tourist hotspot, attracting 22.5% of all visitors, followed by Catalonia at 19.4% and Andalusia at 15.3%. Cumulatively, in the first eight months of 2025, Spain experienced a 3.9% increase in tourism numbers, with nearly 66.8 million tourists visiting the country.
